Under the direction of Principal, Ms. Amy Rose, a Rose Salgado committee comprised of District staff, parents, Soboba Tribal Council Members and members of Rose Salgado's family met multiple times to discuss the new school's mission, vision and goals and to give input regarding the school's colors and mascot.
