Greetings, RSE Bears!

My name is Laura Ross, and I am proud to serve as the school counselor at Rose Salgado Elementary. I recently became a California resident and am so excited to be part of the RSE and SJUSD family!

I was born and raised in Georgia and attended the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), where I earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work, as well as an Education Specialist degree in School Counseling. Over the past 19 years, I have had the privilege of working as a school counselor at both the elementary and middle school levels in Georgia.

I am thrilled to continue my journey here at Rose Salgado Elementary, supporting students, families, and teachers as we work together to ensure the success and well-being of every child.
